Our designers can choose from the entire line of Kichler® landscape lighting products to enhance your outdoor experience. Kichler® lighting products are truly the top-of-the-line, not some plastic home improvement store close-outs. Qualified installers make it a painless process as well. Stonework

Whether you have a pond or not, quality stonework adds a new dimension and value to your home. And if you do have a water feature, adding a brick or stone patio is the icing on the cake. The combination of water and stone is hard to beat. GEM Ponds is a proven, quality installer of stonework features from patios, walkways, fire pits to retaining walls, GEM can do them all. When the job calls for pavers, we use only the finest materials from Unilock® and Illinois Brick Company.

KOI!

As beautiful and soothing as a GEM Pond is, it's lifeless (literally!) without fish. As a matter of fact, fish are a vital part of the ecosystem created by a pond. Also, by adding Koi to your pond you are adding to your family as well. These fascinating creatures have a way of becoming life-long friends. As time goes on, they'll come to the surface to be "hand-fed" and are quite tame, you'll swear they recognize you. As exotic as they may seem, they really are quite simple to care for. GEM Ponds can supply any level of fish you desire, from ordinary pet shop fish to prize-winning show fish whose lineage can be traced back to ancient Japan. We also can provide the foods and nutrients they require. Every pond GEM builds features a "hiding place" where your fish can hide from predators. Not that they have to worry much. Most of their natural enemies, such as raccoons, skunks etc. won't venture too deep into the water to pursue them and if they do, they can't hold their breath long enough to score that elusive fish meal. The one persistent enemy they face are cranes and blue herons. For them, GEM can provide a more technological solution in the form of a "water scarecrow", a device that will spray water on the offending fowl.
